Tractor work ~

Miss having Dyfra in the horse pasture, she kept all the grass eaten down to the point it never looked like there was anything growing.

I had to send her away over a year ago because she ended up with very bad asthma and allergies and my last Icelandic horse, lets just say she is picky.

The little goats do their best but the grass has gotten out of hand.
Hard to see here, but much of it is as tall as my knees.

Mia~

Mia has decided hanging out in DH's Armoire is fun.
She is really good at opening doors.

Infant Tortoise ~

While cleaning the Infant tortoise's housing yesterday, she enjoyed a nice warm soak. Was very cute, watched her just about melt and relax.

Back in her housing, enjoying her 5th meal of the day.

I call her, Infant Putz,  because for such a tiny creature,
she can throw some big tantrums.

Her housing.... with Tortoise safe plants.

Stjarnas play day ~

Stjarna has been begging to go out and run in the front pasture for awhile.   She sure doesn't act 25 !
So I let her go play while I took Maggie for a short walk.
Used the iphone camera again....   was quite a distance away when I took the photos... am impressed.

Two left ~

Checked the nest today,
since I had not done it in awhile.
Only 4 of the 5 eggs hatched and now 2 of the
hatchlings are gone, leaving only this pair.

Maggie and I ~

Selfies are not my thing but I figured I would take one today.  Just used the Cell phone camera,
as I did not want to drop my good one again.

Maggie is doing a lot better, now that we have a new Farrier.
We are both Gimpy and old...  but still enjoy each others company.

Maggie wanted to go for a much longer walk but we will have to try another time.

Will see how we are both doing next spring, and then, maybe will go shopping for a cart.

Broken Toe and Hens ~

Broken Toe has been a good rooster, though I do wish the hens would stop grooming his once full beard and muffs.
He is with just a few of his favorites in this photo.

Rest of them are patrolling the place for bugs.

They are outstanding at keeping around the house and two most close pastures free of ticks.
