Wildflower gardens

Have been experimenting with getting Wildflowers to grow on various parts of the property. Slowly learning what will survive both the weather and animals.

Painting the Board and Batten sheds

For the most part I stopped using this Blog for family as a means to let everyone know what was going on as per their request.  Mainly because most are on FB.

Latest ~  All the sheds are in bad need of a little maintenance.

Everything I try to do now, is a struggle. Heat makes everything much, much worse.

Should of been able to knock out a 32' by 12' board and batten shed in less than a day.
Now can only work on for a short period of time before my body doesn't want to function.

What I have managed to get done, so far, looks a lot better.

This is the hay shed, I still have another Board and Batten shed to do of the same size, Maggie's shed, there there is another I need to repaint in a lamplight yellow.

I will get there, wither it is before winter or early spring, will do my best and keep soldiering on.

An Icelandic and Cedar Trees~

Through Dyfra's ears, riding in the cedar woods on the
old property in Oregon.

Was a magical place and the smell was wonderful.

Am glad I have good memories to look back on.

Japanese Maples

Figured since my health issues made me give up my horses, would start collecting trees.

My young Japanese maples showing some color.

Couple of the local honeysuckle vines added to the mix. All will be put in the garage for the winter this weekend.

They will be the foundation of my little Japanese Maple garden in the future.

Archery

To be honest, I was going to give up doing the family Blog.  Most of the family is on FB but not all.

Long story short, have a lot of things going on in my life, a lot of them not great but will never give up.

Was going to do Archery One morning no matter what.

Had to adjust for the motor tremors, ignore the serious pain I had when the arrow launched across that left knuckle that has some weird bony growth on it.

The plus of me dropping a cinder block on that left hand years ago, makes it lock and impossible to drop things. LOL...  so I could not let go of the bow when shooting.

The handy dandy walker was good for carrying my equipment around.

Despite the challenges I am not going to give Archery up and it felt so very good being out and somewhat active !!!!!

Yes, all that bruising was just from the arrow resting and launching off my left hand while wearing a glove.
Will not give up my Archery, so I ignore the pain and
keep going.
